Jonathan is a serial entrepreneur who has founded seven companies, grown them to scale and seen them through to multi-million dollar acquisitions.
Upon graduating from The Citadel (the Military College of South Carolina), Mr. Ramaci was commissioned as an Officer in the United States Army.
Mr. Ramaci founded Elements of Genius, where he strategizes with Fortune 500 clients to unlock their innovation potential. Mr. Ramaci’s is currently the Managing General Partner of Great Product, Inc. Jonathan holds multiple patents and is an extensively published thought leader. Mr. Ramaci is committed to developing talent, as he regularly mentors university students and entrepreneurs in the areas of innovation, commercialization and entrepreneurship.
Mr. Ramaci lives in Charleston, South Carolina and holds degrees and certifications from The Citadel and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Genise has been working with non-profits for the past 16 years assisting children and families who are at risk of entering the foster care system. In so doing, she works to increase protective capacities as well as assist families to widen and engage community supports and resources. Genise is a Registered Yoga Teacher and has been practicing yoga for the past 10 years.
As a mission-driven individual, Genise is drawn to Project Z because it seeks to address an issue that is quite pervasive among children who are at risk of coming into foster care—“child bedlessness”. Project Z desires to transform children’s health and their ability to effectively respond while in an education setting by ensuring they have a place to lay their heads. Genise is humbled and honored to work with a great team who is committed to helping children achieve a good night’s rest.
Dr. Eric Nofzinger is an internationally recognized business-oriented Medical Research and Development Professional in the Neurosciences, Psychiatry, Neurology, Sleep Medicine areas offering 12 years background as Founder and Chief Medical Officer for Ebb Therapeutics, a medical device company with successful exit in 2020, 17 years Professor at University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and 3 years President of the Sleep Research Society.
Dr. Nofzinger has expertise in leading all clinical trial and research activities including data analysis and publication to support product development, FDA clearance, sales and marketing teams to commercialize technology as well as international expertise in academic clinical research.
Having developed a reputation for using hard work, creativity, and leadership to produce better results, Dr. Nofzinger has been recognized consistently for performance excellence and contributions to success.
As the owner and practicing partner of Elodie LLC, Danielle Larkins is both professional and highly committed to serving clients to overcoming obstacles.
Prior to founding Elodie LLC, Danielle devoted over 10 years of experience in various sectors of nonprofits, private and federal entities. Where she proudly assisted children, adolescents, adults, Active Duty Military, Veterans and their families in overcoming barriers presented in their lives.
Ms. Danielle Larkins is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor.
Ms. Larkins is a proud mother of one, youngest of her siblings and a daughter of two Veterans that have proudly served their country. Ms. Larkins is a firm believer and adequate practicer of her own philosophy “Success is a state of mind that manifest into reality.”
Carlos Barajas is a Global Senior Executive with responsible for Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain (COO). Carlos has Executive Committee experience reporting to CEO and continuous interaction with Board of Directors. He is responsible for 11 Manufacturing Plants (Canada, USA, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Germany, India, UK and Spain). Carlos has extensive experience managing Global Sourcing and Manufacturing teams based in North America, Europe, India, Asia and LATAM.
Previously, Carlos Barajas was selected by Diversity MBA Magazine as one of the “Top 100 emerging leaders under 50” for 2012. In 2008, Carlos received a special recognition as one of the “top 50” global contributors of Whirlpool (from 73,000 employees – received letter from CEO for this recognition).
Along with Project Z of the Lowcountry, Carlos also serves as a board member for the Florida-based nonprofit, Yoga4Change.
With a background in non-profit fundraising and management, Sheilagh Carlisle is currently working as the Director of Development with Sea Island Habitat for Humanity.
Sheilagh most recently departed her role as Director of Marketing & Development with Lowcountry Orphan Relief in North Charleston. There she helped LOR accomplish two record breaking years, reaching more children and raising more funds than the organization had annually seen.
Prior to living in Charleston Sheilagh lived and worked in San Diego at the local PBS and NPR affiliated station, KPBS. The station promotes fact-based news and educational content on TV, Radio, and digital platforms. Working in two positions within the organization, first as Membership Operations & Distribution Supervisor and then as a Leadership Giving Officer, Sheilagh was responsible for back-end and front-end fundraising, giving her deep insights into the development pipeline that resulted in the stations $32mil annual budget.
Sheilagh co-founded the local women’s organization called Naked Lady Society, hosting bi-monthly events. The group aims to empower women, support local causes, and promote sustainability in the fashion industry.
Sheilagh was also accepted into to the 2021 Class of Charleston’s 40 Under 40 for her work with Sea Island Habitat. She loves making connections and is available to answer questions about philanthropy in the Lowcountry.
James G. Game is a seasoned, long time Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operating Officer of nonprofits and companies in Charleston, SC. Most recently he served as CFO/COO of the nonprofit Gibbes Museum of Art, where he oversaw Finance/HR, IT, Visitor’s services, Facilities and Security. In October 2021, he chose to depart the "nonprofit" world and venture back into "for profit" and serves as CFO of Blutide Marine Construction, a primere marine dock construction and general contracting company locally with multi-million-dollar revenues annually.
In his 30-year career, James has served 15 years in Public Accounting as a senior audit manager, return preparer, consulting, and tax advisor. He spent 7+ years as a division director of procurement, assistant financial officer, and has his owned a consulting business for accounting since 2006. He has a passion for leading, building relationships, business/clients and serving others.
Born and raised, a native of Charleston, South Carolina, James attended local schools and the College of Charleston. He graduated college with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and he holds a master’s degree in Accounting. James is a SC notary public and serves on several boards and is a member of several nationwide or local organizations.
